Albany, New York, Pharmaceutical Error Attorneys

Defective Drugs • Prescription Mistakes

Defective drugs and pharmaceutical errors are responsible for thousands of injuries and deaths every year. Whenever we read of drug recalls in the news, it means that a drug such as Fen-Phen or Vioxx has been found to be hazardous. It usually means that patients who were taking the drug suffered harmful effects—and sometimes it is learned the company that developed the drug knew of potential harmful effects but failed to alert the public to the dangers.

If you believe that you or a loved one was seriously injured or your condition was made worse as a result of a doctor's or pharmacist's prescription error in upstate New York, or through use of a dangerous drug such as Bextra, Celebrex, or Duragesic patches, contact us.

Our lawyers welcome the opportunity to evaluate your case at a free initial consultation. During our initial conversation, we will attempt to determine whether negligence on the part of a healthcare provider or drug manufacturer was the cause of your family member's health complications or death due to pharmaceutical error or delivery of dangerous medications.

In particular, we are interested in knowing if you have suffered serious harm as a result of the use of drugs that have been recalled, including Fosamax, Ortho Evra, Gleevac, Tquin, Seroquel, Ketek, Trasylol, or Ephedra. Ask us about the process of filing a claim or lawsuit if you or your unborn child were injured or sickened through the use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, drugs administered during pregnancy, antidepressants, weight loss drugs, or any medication known to have contra-indications.

Our Goal for Those Injured by Defective Drugs: Maximum Compensation

We investigate all possible ways to recover compensation for our clients when we represent someone who was injured through the administration of a dangerous or defective drug. Our investigations look into medical records, drug manufacturer research, and reports as to what kinds of warnings you were given when you were prescribed a drug with known risks, and whether it was an adequate disclosure.

Our mission is simple: to obtain the maximum financial recovery for each of our clients who is a defective drug injury victim. We do this by closely examining and preparing to present to a claims adjustor, jury, or judge the facts and circumstances that make each person's case unique.

The case we prepare includes the issues raised by the defective drug and its effects, as well as the unique losses the victim and his or her family have sustained: medical and / or funeral expenses, lost wages, loss of society, loss of quality of life, and necessary accommodations in the case of head or spinal cord injury resulting from medication errors, such as rehabilitation therapy, home remodeling, or wheelchair accessible conversion vans.

Complete our case evaluation form to initiate dialog with our attorneys about your or your family member's injuries or loss of life apparently caused by a prescription error or sale of a defective drug. Or contact us to schedule a consultation to discuss your case in detail with an experienced New York defective drug lawyer.
