After gaining invaluable experience and perspective working on the defense side of medical malpractice, Nicole is enthusiastic about joining Powers & Santola.  Most importantly, Nicole is excited about the opportunity to represent injured people and their families with the compassion and dedication they deserve.

Nicole earned a full academic scholarship to Albany Law School, and graduated magna cum laude, in two and a half years.  Hardwork and dedication have always been the cornerstone of Nicole’s academic and professional career.  After researching the topic and writing a paper on malpractice in health care, as a freshman in college, Nicole realized her passion for medicine and the issues presented in medical malpractice cases.  Working on the defense side of medical malpractice provided Nicole with unique knowledge and insight into how medical malpractice cases are defended.  Today, Nicole channels her passion for medicine and applies her relevant knowledge and background to provide the best legal representation possible in medical malpractice and personal injury cases.

Nicole will be available for her clients and their family throughout every step of litigation because she understands the importance of communication, as well as the difficult nature of what her clients are going through.  Nicole embraces challenges, and she works relentlessly to achieve the best and most efficient outcome for her clients.

Important Information

Nicole is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, American Association for Justice, and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association.

Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their son.  Nicole has a healthy obsession with traveling, exploring different parts of the world, and learning about other cultures.  Most likely due to her competitive nature, Nicole also enjoys watching sports – especially the Buffalo Bills.
